Top honors at the 73rd annual New York Film Critics Circle went to the Coen Brothers' No Country for Old Men. The Cormac McCarthy adaptation also earned Best Supporting Actor for Javier Bardem (expect to hear that again soon), best screenplay for the Coen Brothers, and best director again going to the Coen Brothers.
The Lives of Others, last year's foreign Oscar winner, was eligible for the Critics' Best Foreign Film award this time around as it wasn't shown in New York City until this year.
