Remember that Marvel production list we told you about a little while ago? The company revealed some tidbits about several upcoming projects, and among them was a movie version of the Marvel comic Thor. I should preface this by saying that I'm not a huge comic dude (commence hating….now), but I do, for whatever reason, have a bit of a soft spot for Thor, God of thunder. Call me crazy. Thanks. Anyway, Cinematical is reporting that Thor is now the proud owner of a new director. Yay! The film will be helmed by none other than Matthew Vaughn, the man that brought you Layer Cake and Stardust. The film will be written by Mark Prostevich. Look out for falling lightening bolts.
