News > Another AVP Sequel?

Written by David Morgan

The latest rumor out there is that 20th Century Fox is talking to the Strause Brothers about making a third film in the Alien vs. Predator series that began with Paul W.S. Anderson's AVP, and continued with the Strauses' AVPR: Aliens vs Predator - Requiem. In fact, ShockTillYouDrop goes so far as to call the threequel a "certainty."

[The Brothers Strause] stated [some time ago that] Fox was going to take a "wait-and-see" approach to a third chapter, furthermore, that the story would have to continue in space.

So there you have it, internet crowd. Some of you must have asked for it, and now you're going to get it (if this source is legit).

it got a bad rap from every single review site, and anyone I've ever talked to, I think I was the only one who liked it. I just don't say no to a movie with that many baby deaths. Everyone also said Bioshock was a good game...

don't get me wrong AVP II was goin in the right direction, but for the most part the predalien didn't look very good, most of the film was to dark, the overall plot wasn't that great.

i was hoping ot see more military verse the predator/alien but they all get 100% wiped and your tellin me some local bumpkins and handle and survive a encounter with either species.... gimme a break.

over all i liked the film but wouldn't pay to see it again, and i wouldn't buy the DVD..it was a B film with a Almost A budget.

Those aren't good enough reasons for me not to love every one of the bloody deaths in this movie. Not that I agree with your plot statement, but who needs an A+ plot in a movie like this? What did the internet expect? Godfather with Aliens?
