News > Bruce Willis to Star in "Kane and Lynch"

Bruce Willis will play Kane in an upcoming adaptation of the video game "Kane and Lynch: Dead Men." Prolific stunt coordinator Simon Crane will make his directorial debut with this film for which Kyle Ward has written the screenplay.

The mostly poorly-reviewed (but somewhat profitable) game followed two death row inmates who are broken out of jail by a cabal of mercenaries who want Kane and Lynch to steal a microchip for them. If they fail, Kane's wife and daughter will be murdered. The psychopathic Lynch accompanies Kane in order to monitor his progress for the mercenaries.

Sound like a candidate for the "Third-Tier Bruce Willis Box Set" that's coming out on Blu-Ray in 2017. "Kane" will be joined "16 Blocks," "Perfect Strangers," and "Hart's War," among others.
