The Private Lives of Albert Einstein, a 1994 biography of the German physicist written by Roger Highfield and Paul Carter, has been acquired by Hero Pictures International, who intend to produce a biopic on Einstein's life. Variety says that Ron Bass (Rain Man) will be adapting the screenplay. In fact, he began writing the screenplay during the summer but had to put down his pen on November 1st for the WGA strike. He will return to it as soon as that hubbub is resolved.
The book chronicles virtually everything from Einstein's early years to his death, depicting his personal life in a rather unflattering way. How much of this will be in the final product is still uncertain.
