What a title, right? The John Marks novel Fangland is turning into a starring vehicle for two-time Oscar winner Hilary Swank. According to Variety, Swank will "play a TV producer who travels to Romania for an interview with a notorious European arms dealer. Turns out, he's a modern-day Dracula."
Mark Wheaton wrote the first draft of the screenplay and turned it in just before the strike began. Sriram Das of Das Films and Jason Blum of Blumhouse will produce with Swank. Marks is a former 60 Minutes producer.
For some reason, I feel like the title Fangland can and should only be shouted. FANGLAND!
