News > Iliff to Direct Loaded

Written by David Morgan

Screenwriter W. Peter Iliff will direct his own screenplay entitled Loaded, which tells the story of a drug-addicted FBI agent and his sex-addicted female partner who must locate a missing baby by first "help[ing] each other solve their problems to finish the job" (Hollywood Reporter). Bizarre. Who is this W. Peter Iliff you might ask? He wrote Patriot Games, Varsity Blues and the now notorious Point Break (seen Hot Fuzz?).

"'The film takes a straight procedural FBI story and does it in a Tarantino style,' Iliff said. 'We meet the characters at the bottom of their addiction and see them rise out of it. It's a hero's journey.' Iliff has had the script for more than seven years and said it defines him as a writer." I don't know if the best way to identify yourself is by a stale formula done in someone else's style.

Good God please cast someone hot as the sex addict FBI agent. I'm campaigning for Rosario Dawson, she's like cowbell, there is no such thing as too much. Either her, or any desperate actress who will do full frontal. Elizabeth Berkeley anyone? Get Paul Verhoeven to write, direct, and guest shoot the sex scenes. This screenplay has awkward conversations and over the top monologues written all over it.
