On Friday, it seems like the cat was "unintentionally" escorted out of the bag and into the waiting inbox of AICN's Quint. And it seems like it was also the day when the new Batman for Justice League was announced. We think. Kind of. Maybe.
No one holds any confirmation–heck, even AICN hasn't touched this one for two weeks–but the aptly titled Batman-on-Film.com first ran news that Armie Hammer will slip on the cowl on Nov. 16. Someone even bothered to update his IMDB page with the casting as "rumored." IESB claims as of last Friday, they have confirmed Hammer is cast but cannot cite any source.
While we're all for speculation, this and the rampant annoyances involved with Cloverfield are driving us crazy. Not the good kind, more like the War Machine kind.
