Isla Fisher is set to play the female lead voice in Gore Verbinski's animated adventure Rango.  According to Variety, Fisher will star alongside Johnny Depp, Abigail Breslin, Alfred Molina, Ray Winstone, Harry Dean Stanton and Ned Beatty.

Story centers on a household pet (Depp) who goes on an adventure to discover his true self.

Fisher most recently starred in the romantic comedy "Definitely, Maybe." She is attached to star in a pair of bigscreen comedies: "The Cookie Queen" at Universal and "Groupies" at Paramount.

Side note:  Is it me or does she look exactly like Amy Adams?
