J.J. Abrams is working a new film and this time it deals with a natural disaster, an earthquake. Abrams, the creator of Lost and Cloverfield, is teaming up with the screenwriter of Omen, David Seltzer, to bring us this film for Universal.
The project is currently untitled and is most details of it are being kept under lock and key. He did mention however, that it is not a remake of the 1974 Universal movie Earthquake. For now Abrams is only planning to produce the Earthquake revamp.
