Latinoreview.com has apparently landed the EXCLUSIVE news that none other than Jackie Earl "Rorschach" Haley is being cast as Freddy Krueger in the upcoming "A Nightmare On Elm Street" remake.

This might turn out to be nothing more than a rumor, but they seem to be pretty sure of themselves and have not let people down in the past.

Shooting is only weeks away so we should be hearing whoever the hell they cast as Freddy any day now (bloodydisgusting.com is also saying the same thing, by the way).

Regardless, that's a hell of an idea and would be FANTASTIC casting in my opinion. Though I do fear what it will do to Haley's career–I'd hate to see him sadly moping around horror conventions 20 years from now. Instead of just sadly moping around comics/sci-fi conventions…
