Because of the way you "broke" this story Joaquin. If you were more casual about it and had just said "hey, you know, I don't think I'm going to really be doing any more acting anymore. I think this is going to be my last role. At least for quite awhile. I want to focus on doing some music, which is another big passion of mine".
But no, you come out looking like ass and slurring like you're drunk as 10 Indians and say you want to take this time to give E an "exclusive" and then announce you are COMPLETELY done acting. Period. You presented this announcement in the most dramatic, douche bag of a way. Then when this dude chuckles a bit because he's in disbelief, and thinks it's a joke, you act like...well, a douche.
Fuck you Joaquin Phoenix, you're a moron. It's only a matter of time before there is another ridiculous interview with him triumphantly announcing he is returning to acting. Ass.
