Keri Russell will play the love interest for Adam Sandler's character in Disney's Bedtime Stories. Sandler will play "a harried real estate developer whose life is suddenly turned upside down when the lavish bedtime stories he tells his niece and nephew become real." As of yet, there are no details on Russell's character.

Adam Shankman of this year's Hairspray fame will direct the film based on a script by Matt Lopez. They hope to start shooting in February, with a Christmas 2008 release date as their goal. Sandler and his Happy Madison partner Jack Giarraputo will produce along with Andrew Gunn's Gunn Films.
