Michael Bay is further cementing his relationship with Hasbro toys by producing a film based on their patented "Ouija Board" under his production company Platinum Dunes, which he shares with Andrew Form and Brad Fuller. According to The Hollywood Reporter, "the specific log line for the film is being kept under wraps" but "the film will be a supernatural adventure with the Ouija board playing an integral part of the story. The movie is not taking a 'Jumanji'-like approach, which involved a game coming to life." Well, good, you wouldn't want to compromise the integrity of either the film or the Ouija board. David Berenbaum ("Elf," "Spiderwick Chronicles") is writing the screenplay.
