Ever the eclectic gentleman, fan-favorite Quentin Tarantino has added Mike Myers to the cast of his long-gestating project “Inglorious Bastards”.

Myers is set to join Brad Pitt, Eli Roth, Simon Pegg, Nastassja Kinski, David Krumholtz and B.J. Novak, all fan darlings in their own sense, on the field as British General Ed Fenech. Fenech is described as a military mastermind who plays a part in the plot to take out the Nazi villains.

The ambitious project, being co-produced by the Weinstein Co. and Universal, will begin production in Germany on Oct. 13. It is based on the exploitation war film from Italy, released stateside under the same name.
