Way to drop the ball, Universal. If not "The Fast and the Fourious" they could have at least considered "2 Fast + 2 Furious= Fourocious." The word coming via Cinematical is that the actual title will be simply "Fast and Furious" omitting all of the usual "the's."
Justin Lin ("Tokyo Drift," "Better Luck Tomorrow") is back to direct, and the script has been written by Chris Morgan ("Tokyo Drift," no relation). The official plot description is:
When a crime brings them back to L.A., fugitive ex-con Dom Toretto (Diesel) reignites his feud with agent Brian O'Conner (Walker). But as they are forced to confront a shared enemy, Dom and Brian must give in to an uncertain new trust if they hope to outmaneuver him.
If you want to learn more about the story, Latino Review did a critique of it back in November that may still be accurate. But keep in mind, it's got some spoilers.
