On First FX Shot of the New USS Enterprise at 01/18/2008 3:57pm

NO NO NO!!!!!
If this is supposed to be the FIRST version of the arguably most recognized Sci-Fi Starship then it is all wrong.
Like every ship in history things get changed through it's life no problem with that. However the Eneterprise that Pike commanded and was later updated for the TV series first had warp nacelles that were almost identical to the TV series except they had no intercooler fins at the rear and had what looked like litghtening rods with a ball on th end at the fron of them. This can be seen in "The Cage" and in a publicity shot of Leonard Nimoy as Spock holding the FX model. Second the top of the bridge was a clear dome that you could see the bridge through. This was cahnged to a solid dome in the Series. Impulse area on saucer was more angular and blocky on the pilot "The Cage" enterprise then the Series and this one is all wrong.
This is not the NCC-1701 we all grew up loving and what has inspired nearly two generations of fans.
Paramount you have blown it! Face it you Neutered the dream with the bland wooden cast and really bad scripts with "next Generation,killed the dream with DS-9, Mutilated the dead with Voyager Jane way oh good bad actress and fplease a lost ship not taking part in bargining for supplies and food? But staying to "protocall? Laughable at best, Finally infested it with maggots with "Enterprise". No you are trying to raise the dead with a ship that isn't the classic Big-E be it 1701 or 1701A.
Don't get me wrong I love the classic Trek series and films but when the swill you called Next Gen and DS-9 and Voyager and Enterprise came out I became a fan of Babylon 5 a true Sci-fi series with good scripts and Charecters you actually cared about.
I hope I am wrong I really do bit this has given me grave doubts about this film.
