I have to agree with Insane here, for the most part. I would say however though that Downey is one of the finer American actors of this generation. Other than that, yah, I agree with Insane. This movie is NO worse than any other Judd Apatow or Will Ferrel comedy I've seen. I respect your view on this movie, because it's your opinion and you are obviously entitled to that, however I don't agree with it.

I think he'd be a better fit just by judging the shorts he did for Halo. I really enjoyed his style and the way he shot it. I'm biased, I'll admit it. I loved those shorts and that's the way I want to see an entire movie done.
