Flat out amazing. It’s tied with The Incredibles for my favorite Pixar film. It was funny. It looked amazing, especially the sequence at the beginning when Remy (played by Patton Oswalt) is running through the crawl spaces of a building, giving us tiny glimpses of the interiors of the various rooms (and humans inside those rooms) of the building as he runs by. The plot reminded me of a French New Wave film, somewhat along the lines of Shoot The Piano Player. All the voice acting was beyond spot on as well. I have nothing negative to say about this film…I just wish real life rats weren’t so friggin’ disgusting, because Ratatouille ALMOST made me want to love them.

But then on the subway ride home, I saw some rats and they still made my skin crawl. Not sure what that means…
