A remake of the Swedish vampire film Lat Den Ratte Komma In is slated to be helmed by Matt Reeves, director of Cloverfield. The film, based on a novel by Swedish author John Ajvide Lindqvist centers on a young boy who befriends a new female neighbor.

The film is slated for release next year, and is the first in a two picture deal between Overture Films and HS Media.
