"Dead or Alive...You are coming with ME!"

Those words echo in the hearts of those who remember and love the original Robocop, and most assuredly will be paying close attention to the upcoming big budget remake. With that being said, when rumors that Darren Aronofsky had been in discussion to direct the project, questions abounded.

This could either be really great, as in a fantastic new look at the cyborg cop of the future, or really, really bad. As a HUGE fan of the original, the question for me is, how much will they deviate from the original? Aronofsky, best known for The Fountain, is definitely an original kind of director that people either love or hate, so his take on Robocop will either be visionary and unique, or just plain weird.

And remember, Aronofsky is only in discussion, so none of this may even be an issue. We'll keep you posted...
