In modern London real estate has replaced drugs as the biggest market & criminals are its most excited enterpreneurs. For anyone looking to be on the inside Lenny Cole (Tom Wilkinson) is the only man to see. A mobster from the old school he knows the right wheels to spin & has his hand on the neck of any politician, broker, or gangster that matters. One ring from Lenny & the red tape disappears. With a lot of money up for the taking all the criminals in London colludes & clashes with one another in an attempt to take their cut. But as high rollers & petty thiefs alike fight for control the true gem of one multi-million-dollar deal will fall into the dirty hands of a rock star junkie (Toby Kebbell) Lenny’s stepson assumed dead but very much alive. Guy Ritchie is back in his style genre with this but it isn’t his best work. In the tradition of Snatch & Lock Stock & Two Smoking Barrels the action is there but the acting seems kind of forced at times. It seems as if he made another Lock Stock with this, it’s shoot em up crime /action as usual. If you like this kind of style you’ll enjoy this. Jeremy Piven however is all so entertaining as always.
