Kim Masters reports on the tactics Hollywood is using to slash salaries. Apparetnly, Julia Roberts is getting $15 million to make Eat, Pray, Love, but Scarlett Johansson and Mickey Rourke were only offered $250,000 for Iron Man 2. The stars negotiated the number up to something over $400,000. However, it still seems low for such recognizable names.
Hollywood has wanted to cut salaries and perks for some time, and they've taken advantage of our economic state to make budget-conscious decisions and some serious changes in how they deal with talent.
