(This is a user-submitted piece and not the opinion of ANYONE at FilmWad.com. The Dark Knight rocked balls like you wouldn't believe. BELIEVE THE HYPE!!)
Well the movie was ok , not the great end all be all comic movies ever made . Not even the retarded fanboys were acting to enthusiastic at the end . I liked it alot the plot was great the preformances were amazing but it never really seemed to come together for me , Maggie "whats her name" was fucking annoying , but the Joker was fucking great i dont know about Oscar worthy but it was a great performance by Ledger . I think it was a incredible movie , but with all the over hype you went in way too excited and it was kinda hard to live up to that kind of build up . The movie never lags and is always captivating ...... you know , now that i think about it as im posting my thoughts on the movie , It was an amazing movie maybe the 1 hour of sleep im on and the bike accident this morning threw me off , but what a great fucking movie ! Thats all just thought id let you know my thoughts . The best trailer was for Watchmen just looks great. TFG

My friend, who's a die-hard Superman fan and has always, ALWAYS given me sh*t about how much better Supes is than the Bat, finally admitted that THIS movie made him see that Batman is not only a respectable character, but a badass one at that.
The Dark Knight works so well because Bruce Wayne is a man faced with trying to be a protector, and moreover, whatever the city needs him to be...hated, feared, loathed...whatever it takes so the citizens can have both the safety they crave and someplace to channel both their fear and hatred.
Seriously, whatever you're doing, drop it, and go see The Dark Knight. It is sincerely THAT good.
And hbadam, I agree with what you said about Hitmans last line, but I do gotta say the first letter of every word you type being in caps is really annoying.
But seriously guys...this movie did indeed rock balls. See it now. Joker was definitely the highlight of this movie and the most enjoyable part of the movie to watch. Awesome flick.
You are an idiot. The guy posted the disclaimer because people were complaining about opinions, and you also fail to realize that there is a new head of the website that just started. So you could make suggestions about the old problems that you would like fixed, but don't complain like it's this guys fault. And also if you're that pissy you need to stop reading this page for a while and go get some fresh air or take some prozac or something seriously.
Sorry guys I needed to get that out of the way.
The Dark Knight was an amazing movie and Ledger was obviously the best performance, but Eckhart did a great job with his part as well. Not to mention that the Rachel Dawes in this movie can actually fuckin act as opposed to Katie Holmes.

Step it up people, if you spend as many hours in front of your computers as I'm sure you do, you can spare the 3 minutes it would take to proofread something you post. Who knows, maybe some of us will actually respect your opinions if you can show you have a 4th grade literacy level.
Or you can just keep saying "fuck" this and "fuck" that and we can all go back to sifting through the rubble looking for the occasional post that is worth reading. Whatever, I don't care.
Now that I think about it, there is one thing we are all good at..bitching.
No, this is supposed to be for people who understand films to write about films. Not for you to post your poorly-written opinions.
"no matter how bad the writing or non sensical the theme"
How likely for someone who writes poorly to defend the absurd notion that bad writing should be equally as respected as good writing. You're right though, they should update the trailors.
drewskins, FTW.
Sure, this could be because there was nothing for Gyllenhaal to really sink her acting teeth into, and I'll also say that her performance didn't really detract from the film in any huge way, but she was far from great and in know way did she demonstrate a Rachel that "can actually fuckin' act."
