Is there a Tim Allen renaissance going on right now that no body told me about?  I saw him recently on Jay Leno and he was like the main guest for Wild Hogs, supposedly he has a major role in David Mamet's (increasingly weirder) sounding cage-fighting drama Redbelt, and now this:

 

Allen will be starring in an indy comedy about a salesman who goes missing and is presumed dead.  When his daughter comes home to set up the funeral, she finds his current wife and five previous wives waiting for her.  Hilarity ensues.  Maybe.  Not to spoil anything, but, I'm pretty sure this ends with Allen returning to the flock and a lot of special lessons learned.

 

On a more important note, the film is chock full of hot women!  Eliza Cuthbert will play his daughter, and the wives will be played by such notoriously attractive chicks as Paz Vega, Andie McDowell (hottest old chick around, I don't care how much Botox she uses), Kelli Garner, and S. Epatha Merkerson.  This must a comedy based in fantasy because I'm pretty sure none of these chicks would date the new skin-tight, post-facelift Allen.

 

Again though, three popular films in under a year …?  Is it the Tim Allen Apocalypse?  The one we always knew would happen …?
