Variety reports that Justin Timberlake will join Mike Myers in the latter's new comedy The Love Guru. The plot summary from Variety:
Storyline revolves around an American (Myers) raised by gurus on an Ashram in India. Returning to the U.S. to make a fortune in the self-help biz, his unorthodox methods are put to the test when he provides marriage counseling to a hockey star. The wife of the hockey star retaliates by starting to date a rival player (Timberlake).
We also know that Romany Malco plays the hockey star who gets marriage counseling, Verne Troyer is his coach, and Jessica Alba is the owner of the team. Shooting should begin next month under the guidance of Marco Schnabel. So has Mike Myers waited too long between live-action projects to still be popular, or has the wait built anticipation? I tend to believe the former.

And if I might add, Timberlake is actually a good actor. I know, I know, shoot me, call me "retarded" (seems to be the word of the week here on Filmwad), but have you seen Alpha Dog? He was great in it, which was a huge surprise.
And who doesn't want more Hollywood hockey films? I know I'm excited. :D
